 ecreation Department at Moakley Park to give back to your community and en
 joy the beauty of this waterfront park!\n\nVolunteers should wear work clo
 thes and close-toed shoes (that you don’t mind getting wet or dirty). Glov
 es will be provided\, but you may also want to bring your own hat\, sunscr
 een\, raincoat\, or jacket depending on the weather. Volunteers should bri
 ng snacks if they wish. Bottled water will be provided.\n\nEvent will run 
 rain or shine\, however may be canceled due to severe weather conditions.
 \n\nWhat is provided: All necessary tools\, including gloves\, pickers\, b
 ags\, sharp containers and safety instruction.\n\nWhat to expect: A volunt
 eer session is 2 hours long\, beginning at 9am and will require picking up
  litter and natural debris. We’ll give you everything you need to keep you
  safe. Just bring a positive attitude as you help make a difference in thi
 s City of Boston Park.\n\nDirections: Please meet staff at the crosswalk a
 cross from the Edward J. McCormack Bathhouse at Carson Beach (pictured abo
 ve). Parking and bike racks are available there. The closest public transi
 t stop is JFK/UMass station on the Red Line\, a 0.6 mile walk.\n\nCOVID-19
  safety protocols:\n\nThis event will be limited to 50 volunteers\nFace ma
 sk or covering is required for participants\nPhysical distancing between p
 arties is required\nStay home if you feel sick\nDo not participate if you 
 have shown signs or symptoms or had exposure to sick individuals within 14
  days of the event\n\n*Note*: If the event of your choice is full but you 
 are interested in participating in future Moakley Park Cleanups\, please c
