  an extraordinary group of partners\, is sponsoring the annual Neponset Ri
 ver Fall Cleanup on Saturday\, September 25th from 9 am-12 pm with work si
 tes in Canton\, Dorchester\, Hyde Park\, Mattapan\, Milton\, Norwood\, Qui
 ncy\, and Walpole.\n\n“Our annual fall cleanup makes a big difference in a
 reas along the Neponset River\, local streams\, and parks that often go un
 noticed. It not only makes these sites look nicer but improves recreationa
 l access and helps wildlife habitats.” said NepRWA Executive Director\, Ia
 n Cooke.\n\nVolunteers of all skill levels and physical abilities are need
 ed to help with this important event. Join for an hour or the entire time 
 – every bit helps!\n\nPre-registration is required via the REGISTRATION li
 nk below. If you have any questions\, please contact NepRWA cleanup coordi
 nator\, Meghan Slocombe.\n \nAll volunteers are asked to meet at their pre
 -assigned site and to wear masks when they are unable to maintain social d
 istance to six feet.\n \nPlease bring water\, sunscreen\, hats\, work glov
 es\, appropriate footwear (no sandals)\, a mask\, and work clothes that ca
 n get dirty. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
