Park Service Day (Statewide)
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts is excited to announce the participating locations for this year’s 19th annual Park Serve Day happening on April 26. What started in 2006 as a day of Stewardship in Massachusetts has grown into an annual event with thousands of participants!
DCR holds Park Serve Day annually, in conjunction with Earth Week, to provide volunteer opportunities from Nickerson State Park on Cape Cod to Mount Greylock State Reservation in the Berkshires. Volunteers will help clean coastlines, clear trails, pick up litter, plant flowers, and paint at state parks across the state, among other important tasks. This year, DCR will hold over 60 Park Serve Day events at 40 locations across the state.
