Who We Are

Help keep our beloved peninsula pristine and litter-free

Let's talk trash on Cape Cod

Keep Cape Cod Beautiful

Cape Cod is one of Massachusetts' major tourist attractions, drawing visitors from across the U.S. and all over the world. Protecting the beauty of Cape Cod is a challenge, especially with the proliferation of plastic packaging and our "throwaway" habits.

Keep Cape Cod Beautiful is working to instill and grow community pride in all 15 Cape Cod towns. By reducing litter, improving access to recycling, and beautifying the Cape's landscape, together we can protect and enhance the natural beauty of Cape Cod.

We are currently seeking representatives from each of Cape Cod's 15 towns to join our new advisory board. This board will meet quarterly to coordinate litter cleanups, educational events, and exchange best practices. The advisory committee will also coordinate with the many environmental protection groups that already exist on the Cape, including:

Cape Cod Anti-Litter Coalition

Cape Cod Cooperative Extension

The Association to Preserve Cape Cod

Care for the Cape and Islands

The Cape Cod Commission

The Center for Coastal Studies

Cape Cod Coastal Cleanup

Together, we can Keep Cape Cod Beautiful.

Contact us to join our advisory committee, sign up as a volunteer, or donate.
