Help Make Foxborough a Cleaner, Greener Place to Live, Work, and Play
Keep Foxborough Beautiful is a community-based volunteer program, sponsored by the Foxboro Rotary Club, with the mission to take action to make Foxborough a cleaner, greener place to live, work, and play. We do this through a number of actions and would love your ideas and assistance to do even more!
Litter Prevention & Cleanup
- Local litter cleanups during the year organized by Keep Foxborough Beautiful and posted on our Facebook group.
- Clean Up Foxboro Day, organized by AJ Dooley, usually held on the second Saturday in April. See our Facebook group for details.
- “Adopt a street” and simply pledge to keep a street or other public space litter-free by signing up as a member of the Massachusetts Litter Cleanup Crew.
Waste Reduction & Recycling
- Recycling bins on the field during Foxborough Founder’s Day
- Kid’s Book Drive—collection of gently-used or new books for ages 2-7 to benefit local Head Start families each December
Beautification & Community Greening
- Pollinator-friendly plantings at the Hockomock YMCA’s Foxborough branch
Environmental Education & Sustainability
- Tips for everyday actions on our Facebook page
- Environmental sustainability film documentaries and educational sessions at the Boyden Library
Volunteering just a few hours a year with Keep Foxborough Beautiful can significantly enhance the beauty of our shared spaces and foster a stronger sense of community pride. Even small actions can have a big impact on our town's beauty and environmental health!
