Spruce Up Acushnet
Join us on April 27th for the Annual Town Wide Cleanup to kick off the 2019 season and pay tribute to Earth Day.
Head to the Council on Aging anytime from 9AM until Noon for some complimentary coffee, donuts, juice, and to collect supplies you'll need for the cleanup like bright colored bags (for visibility on roads) and gloves.
You may park in the COA parking lot and head out from there, or drive to a location of your choosing that you feel could use some help! While at the COA, let us know where you'll be cleaning so we can keep track and help give suggestions to other volunteers.
Spend as much or as little time as you're comfortable with picking up litter. When you feel as though your work is done, come back to the COA to leave your trash with Kelsey from Spruce Up Acushnet. She will be disposing of all the trash where the town and DPW approved. Tires and other big items that you are able to collect are welcome as well!
Can't make it or rather not go to the COA? No problem! If you already have what you need to get out and clean your neighborhood on your own, then go for it!

Every year around Earth Day, Spruce Up Acushnet joins the town wide cleanup promoted by the town of Acushnet. Due to a few conflicts, the town was unable to put one together this year, but Spruce Up Acushnet has offered to facilitate it as best as we can!
