Earth Day Cleanup & EcoFest
Join the Mystic River Watershed Association on an outdoor adventure at Torbert Macdonald Park (the Mystic’s largest riverine park) and get to know your local ecosystem. Choose from a series of participatory workshops about our local wildlife and habitat restoration.
MyRWA educators, scientists, and wildlife experts will be onsite to help you discover our local ecosystem. Join us for: litter removal (let’s restore wildlife habitat!), bird watching, tree ID workshop, a bug/invertebrate investigation, and a self-led City Nature Challenge walk. Drop-in and choose the stations that pique your interest!
Meet in the parking lot of Macdonald Park. There is plenty of parking at the entrance of the park next to the state police station. The park is also a 10-minute walk from the Wellington T Station on the Orange Line. All materials provided.
