Talking Trash & Recycling with the Cary Library of Lexington
Are you confused about what should go in your trash barrel and what should go in your recycling bin? Join Cary Library and Keep Massachusetts Beautiful for a discussion of ways we can all reduce waste and improve recycling.
The Talking Trash & Recycling program is an interactive presentation that will teach you what really happens to your trash and recyclables here in Lexington. You will learn ways to reduce the amount of trash you generate, improve your recycling habits, make small changes to lead a more sustainable lifestyle, and help the town of Lexington achieve its solid waste reduction goals. We will also share some helpful tips to deal with the amazing amount of trash/recycling that is generated during the winter months - with holidays, celebrations, and family gatherings. In addition, we'll learn a bit about how some of your trash can end up in local landfills, across the country, or across the world.
Please register for this meeting and you will receive the program link in the confirmation and reminder notices. Please check your spam folder for the emails. This program will be recorded with permission and be uploaded to the Cary Library YouTube Channel.
