Attleboro Fall Litter Sweep
This cleanup event provides an opportunity for volunteers to clean up the litter that has piled up over the past several months, before the weather turns too cold or snowy. The format for this event is different from the annual Great Attleboro Cleanup that typically takes place every spring.
Volunteers can sign up, pick up their cleanup supplies, and clean up their preferred route between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on November 14. Due to COVID-19, all volunteers are urged to follow these safety guidelines:
• Practice physical distancing and keep 6 feet apart
• Wear rubber-lined gloves, use proper technique when removing gloves, and sanitize hands immediately upon completing your cleanup
• Use a trash grabber tool (Keep Attleboro Beautiful has tools to lend)
• Wear a face covering
• Wear brightly colored clothing, clean up in the direction of oncoming traffic, and avoid stepping into the street whenever possible
