Earth Day 2021 - South Boston Cleanup
Join neighbors and friends in South Boston to clean up our neighborhood from Summer/L Streets, along E 1st and E 2nd Streets to Dorchester Street and Pappas Way. What better way to honor Earth Day and help your community!
Event details:
- Supplies are being provided by the Friends of the Boston HarborWalk e.g. trash bags, water, gloves, hand sanitizer.
- Specific instructions will be given on-site for where to leave bags of trash once filled. Boston City Sanitation will be collecting the bags soon after we have completed the event.
- Volunteers should wear work clothes and close-toed shoes. The event is rain or shine. Keep your eye on the weather to dress appropriately.
COVID-19 safety protocols:
- Face mask or covering is required for participants
- Practice physical distancing between parties and keep 6 feet apart
- Do not gather in a large group at the meet-up location
- Wear gloves and sanitize hands immediately upon completing your cleanup
- Please stay home if you feel sick or had exposure to sick individuals within 14 days of this event
