Please join us on Saturday, May 1, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

This cleanup and fundraiser is sponsored by Anthony’s Liquor Mart to benefit Keep Gardner Beautiful. They will pay a 5-cent bounty for every empty nip bottle collected, as well as every redeemable can or bottle. At last fall's cleanup, volunteers collected and returned 50,000 nips! Anthony’s Liquor Mart will also provide food to thank all volunteers and award several prizes (categories to be announced).

Bring all litter, nips, redeemable bottles & cans to the Gardner Plaza near STAPLES at 20 Pearson Boulevard. Because of the 5-cent bounty for every nip picked up, nips need to be collected and kept separate from the rest of the litter.

The Keep Gardner Beautiful committee will be at the Gardner Plaza to welcome all volunteers, hand out litter cleanup gear, and to help when volunteers return with their bags of litter and nips.

There are a limited number of litter grabber tools and buckets for volunteers to borrow. Gloves and trash bags will be available for every volunteer, as well as free T-shirts for the first 100 volunteers.

For your comfort & safety, please dress according to the weather conditions. Please bring water to stay hydrated. If you own litter grabbers and gloves, please bring them.

Please note:

All nips & bags of litter must be brought to Pearson Blvd Plaza by 12 noon.
Nips must be separated from the rest of the litter.
Volunteers must wear masks and practice social distancing when at Pearson Blvd Plaza.
