Don’t throw away your broken item – bring it to the Repair Café! SalemRecycles will be hosting a Repair Cafe on Saturday November 4th from 9am-12 noon at the Community Life Center at 401 Bridge Street. Appointments are required and walk ins will not be accepted. Schedule an appointment by registering for your repair online. Repair volunteers will be available to mend clothing, sew buttons, sharpen scissors and knives, tinker with or rewire electronics and lamps, computer diagnostics, glue wooden furniture and ceramics, repair bicycles or preform bike tune-ups, and more. Please keep in mind these services may change as we confirm volunteers. We hope to see you at this fun event where you can learn how to fix things and reduce your waste!

TERRACYCLE — We’re collecting SIX TerraCycle brigades of otherwise hard-to-recycle items. Please keep each TerraCycle stream separate.
** Swiffers: All used, dried Swiffer pads.
** Razors: All brands of reusable and disposable razors, blades & cartridges, as well as any flexible or rigid plastic packaging they come in.
** Dental Care: Toothbrushes, toothpaste tubes, mouthwash bottles, & floss containers. All brands, plus toothbrush packaging.
** Deodorant: All brands of deodorant containers and caps.
**Rubbermaid : All brands of plastic or glass containers and lids.
**Brita:Brita dispenser, Brita pitchers, Brita bottles, Brita standard filters, Brita Stream filters, Brita bottle filters, Brita filter packaging, Brita Longlast® filters, Brita Stream® pitchers.
