Join us for a community cleanup in Nahant on Saturday, September 28th from 1 PM - 3 PM at Lynn Shore & Nahant Beach Reservation!

Help us protect our coastal habitats and connect with our partners. Volunteers are invited to join KMB, Oceanic Global, and Corona USA for a litter cleanup of the area surrounding Lynn Shore & Nahant Beach Reservation to prevent marine debris and microplastics from entering our waterways.

Meeting Point: Meet the team at Beach Reservation - Ward Memorial Bathhouse.

Public Transit & Parking:

Closest Bus Stop: Lynnway Rotary @ Nahant Rd

There is a public parking lot at Nahant Beach. Parking fees will be waived for volunteers. Street parking is also available along Lynn Shore Drive.

Please consider carpooling or using public transportation!

Accessibility: Lynn Shore & Nahant Beach Reservation is largely ADA accessible, but please expect mixed terrain and sandy conditions. Most cleanup activities at this location should be able to accommodate a wide range of abilities and ages. Some cleanup activities that are on the beach may not be accessible.

What to pack: Volunteers will be provided with cleanup supplies, including gloves and bags. Come dressed comfortably for the cleanup. We recommend closed-toe shoes and bring your reusable water bottle. If you'd like, feel free to bring your own gardening gloves and reusable bags!

Activities:

~ 1:00 PM Volunteer sign-in and remarks by the Keep Massachusetts Beautiful Team
~ 1:15 PM Cleanup begins
~ 2:30 PM Impact sorting and closing remarks
