Earth Day
The day marks the start of the U.S. environmental movement in 1970, and for the past 55+ years has resulted in policy change and a greater awareness of the environment.
Earth Day 2026 calls on communities worldwide to take action during Earth Week to support clean air, clean water, clean energy, protected natural resources, and climate stability. These factors are directly linked to human health, economic predictability, food security, and cross-border infrastructure performance.
Locally here in Massachusetts, we encourage everyone to take action to make their community cleaner and greener. You can join a local Great Massachusetts Cleanup (see link below) or other Earth Day activities.
