Great Massachusetts Cleanup of Hingham
If you would like to show your care and concern for the Earth this Earth Day, consider joining one of the teams of people who will be participating in the first annual Great Massachusetts Cleanup Day of Hingham!
There are 4 locations in town where volunteers of all ages are invited to pitch in to clean up trash: The Hingham Bathing Beach, Bare Cove Park, Hingham High School and Hingham Middle School. Please bring gloves, your own water bottle and a “can-do” attitude. This is a rain or shine event. This first Earth Day town-wide cleanup event is being organized by “Cleaner Greener Hingham” in partnership with several community-based organizations and businesses including Breakwater Blue (a Hingham-based apparel and recycled sailcloth bag company), the Hingham Girl and Boy Scouts, the Green Teams at all 6 public schools, St. Paul’s School PTO, and Scoops Lacrosse.
