America Recycles Day is a nationally recognized day dedicated to promoting and celebrating recycling in the United States. Every year on or around November 15 event organizers educate neighbors, friends, and colleagues through thousands of events.
Through our alliance with Keep America Beautiful, we offer guides, tools, templates, and tips to make it easy to organize a local recycling or education event. This includes customizable templates for posters, media materials, proclamations, and activities you can use to promote recycling awareness, commitment, and action in your community.
According to Mass Recycle, Massachusetts spends $400,000 to throw away 4,000 tons of trash each day. We spend $160 million of Massachusetts taxpayers’ money annually to manage trash.
