The Great Salem Cleanup
Thank you for your interest in participating in Keep Salem Beautiful’s Great American Cleanup scheduled for Saturday, April 17th, 2021, 12:00-1:30, rain or shine!
Participation in our cleanup is a wonderful way to show your community spirit, beautify the city, and have fun in the process.
Due to COVID-19, face masks are required and all volunteers are urged to follow these safety guidelines:
• Practice physical distancing and keep 6 feet apart
• Wear rubber-lined gloves, use proper technique when removing gloves, and sanitize hands immediately upon completing your cleanup
• Use a trash grabber tool (Keep Salem Beautiful has tools to lend out)
• Wear a face covering
• Wear brightly colored clothing, clean up in the direction of oncoming traffic, and avoid stepping into the street whenever possible
